Dr. Cindy Malachowski will discuss her PhD research that focuses on the lived experience of employees with depression in the workplace. This research highlights key issues for both the employee and the manager, and demonstrates how the employees' experience is coordinated through workplace processes and procedures.

Cindy Malachowski, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Waterloo
Cindy Malachowski is a Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) funded postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo. She is an occupational therapist and a certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), with over ten years of clinical experience in a variety of clinical mental health settings. Her current research investigates the implementation and use of Employee and Family Assistance Programs within a variety of organizational settings.
